   Thank you, Mastro’s, for restoring my faith in our local ability to deliver a nice dining experience, as this was the dinner I had been looking for a few weeks ago across town at Truluck’s.. that they miserably, miserably failed to deliver. Our waiter Alex, the bar staff, and support staff were professional and knowledgeable. What an idea! The food was quite good from start to finish. Calamari could have been a little lighter/crispier, and sans the sauce drizzle, but maybe that’s the way they want it. Overall, a great dinner. Thank you again. I will be back next week.

   Our server was Carlos and he was absolutely the best. This was by far the most enjoyable dining experience I have ever had. At no point did we feel rushed. Carlos’ timing for each course was impeccable. And then there was the food, everything was delicious. We started with the calamari. I’m picky about calamari but this was cooked perfectly. The sauce added a real kick. My date had the lobster bisque and I had the tomato and burrata salad. We loved both. For our entrees we had served scallops and the rack of lamb. They melted in your mouth. And last but certainly not least we had the crème brûlée. It’s our favorite dessert and we get it every time we go somewhere that has it. This was by far our favorite. They also bring you a huge bowl of homemade whipped cream. I could have just eaten that. I definitely recommend Mastro’s and if you go ask for Carlos. He will not disappoint.

   Perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday! They wished him a happy birthday when we walked in, acknowledged his birthday on the menu and on a card sitting at the table. It was so sweet. Our white staff Rosie was amazing. My husband has a gift of a culinary taste bud like nobody else he can taste things that most people can’t taste meaning he knows what seasoning is used and etc., etc. He absolutely loved the steak he had. It was the best he told me and that saying a lot for him I had Seabass and I loved it often times when you order fish in a restaurant it is overly seasoned with too much salt. This was just made to perfection. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

   This has been our go to for the last year or two for special occasions. They always overachieve. Tonight we celebrated my wife’s birthday and the menu had her name on top. Just overall a great experience and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

   Always and I mean always an incredible experience. From the excellent food to the outstanding service; one can’t ask for a better dining experience than Mastro’s in The Woodlands. From the moment you walk in the door until the last bite of food & sip of wine; you’re treated to an awesome experience. Hats off the the GM, bar & wait staff! My 2 cents. Greg T.

   Party of 6 celebrating a birthday. Wish it felt more like a celebration rather than wasting our time trying to get our waiters attention. We felt extremely pressured to order the most expensive entrees and appetizers. We e asked about the pork chop since a lot of our friends recommended it but the waiter downplayed it so much and instead told us to order a more expensive entree. Next time - if there’s a next time, we will listen to our gut and or try Perry’s!
