   Today’s experience at Mastro’s was very disappointing. The service was very subpar. We ordered an appetizer and the bread basket whe we were seated at our table. Our appetizer came out within 25 minutes and my husband had to ask the waiter literally 5 times about our bread basket as other tables seated after us were receiving theirs. He also requested bottled water 3 times from the waiter and that never made it to the table. We ordered the calamari which was overdone, the sautéed shrimp which was lacing in flavor and drowning in a watery tomato sauce. The lobster bisque was good. We decided to not have dinner there as the time went on the service got worse. We have been several times to this location and tonight will be our last visit there.

   We’ve eaten there several times before and this was our second time in 2 days because the food and service were so good. This time however, they brought our entree out within 5 minutes of ordering, long before they brought out my soup. The wait staff seemed to be infatuated with the gentleman sitting next to us and I think we suffered as a result. I will definitely try again because this was the only not great experience that we’ve had there. Food is great.
