   We went about 5:30 on a Thursday night. The music and talking was so loud it was difficult to hear conversation at our table of four. It got quieter when they switched from piped in music to live music. The clientele got quieter and the volume level of the live music was good. We could hear it and still hear one another. Our GPS lead us to the Whaler parking garage and then we had about an 8 minute walk to the restaurant. Plan accordingly if you have a reservation or any mobility problems. The views from the restaurant were very nice. The food was fine. I ordered the Steak Wedge Salad. My plate came out so hot that the first couple layers of my lettuce were wilted. It tasted good, but salad on a hot plate didn’t make much sense to me. The garlic fries are VERY garlicky. They were out of four of the beers on their offered beer menu. I ended up ordering a honey amber that was pretty tasty. My son got a pineapple wheat beer, and it was so carbonated it was difficult to drink. As we were wrapping up dinner, I was too full for dessert, but I wanted to stick around and listen to the live music a bit longer, so I asked for a cup of coffee. Sadly, they serve no coffee. Overall, it was a fine experience. Of our time on the island, it was the restaurant we’d be least likely to revisit again on a future stay.

   The dining experience at Maui Brewing Company was outstanding. The staff and service at Kaanapali Beach Resort Outrigger were flawless. I would visit again

   First time at Maui Brewing Company. Great location in Kaanapali with a great view of Black Rock. Nice restaurant, great selection of beers, and the food was great. We will definitely return next week.

   When compared to other restaurants along Kaanapali, Maui Brewing has nice atmosphere and ample seating; however, they lack variety in food choices and service. The Baja Fish Tacos were good; however others in my party whom ordered the Boneless Short Ribs were unimpressed due to their lack of flavor and stayed that they were ‘fatty’. I will say that we Loved their Mai Tai with the very unique Pineapple Foam. We will try MB again, but will be more selective in our food choices.

   The setting and view are beautiful. The food is not wonderful. I had fish and chips and the fish was extremely oily. The fries were dry and not very good. My husband's pork sandwich was good. The service was fine. The appetizer of pretzel bites with cheese dip was not very good. Overall, I think coming just for a drink and appetizer at happy hour might be the way to go.

    We had a great table outside the waiter was very attentive and checked in often. We shared the steak nachos off of their happy hour menu and they were delicious.
