Would not recommend this place. Very slow service, wine was served before water. Was taking a while to bring/refill water. Food was not soo great! Owner and server was not friendly.

I’ve heard such great things, so my husband and I (who have not been on a date night for almost a year) had hoped for a great night out. When we were arrived we were hardly greeted, a “hello, good evening” would have been nice. We were sat down and then about 5 minutes later we were asked if we were ready to order. No, explanation about the menu (why is was a reduced menu) etc. We ordered drinks and shortly after our app and entre. On the caprese salad there was hardly any cheese. The chicken was a tough piece of meat, however the sauce was good. Hubby enjoyed the veal. We waited too long to order and receive our coffee and cheesecake. It seemed as though other tables were getting the better service. Told about “special wines” that weren’t on the menu etc. I wish this would have been a better experience for us. We love a good independently owned restaurant where the quality service is a large part of the experience however Max Resto Lounge fell short.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Leah was the perfect mix of attentiveness and space. I had the bhami (sp?) and my friend had the special which was linguini Alfredo with jumbo shrimp and asparagus. Both of us LOVED our meal. The ambiance was lovely and I deeply enjoyed the live music. I will be bs k for sure and highly recommend to others.
