Our restaurant, spread across two floors, also boasts terrace seating with outdoor heating. Whilst we love families, unfortunately we are unable to allow under 18s in the venue past 21:30.

    Really fantastic pre Christmas dinner with family before seeing a theatre show. Food was amazing and atmosphere really good. Slight wait to have drinks order taken but was very busy. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

    I've been coming to Maxwell's on and off since i was a teenager in the 1980s! As usual, this visit didn't disappoint...the food and service were excellent and the place always has a lively vibe. I popped in for a quick meal one my own today but will be returning with friends next month. Happy Christmas!

    Enjoy going to maxwells when we visit Covent garden but tonight the food was cold . Waiters wete lovely.

    Great late lunch for my sons birthday, food good. Just one problems with my burger it wasn't hot so called the waitress she was changed it straight away as brought extra fries too. Really good service from all the staff.

    The food was ok, nothing special. We were rushed towards the end of our 2 hour slot even though we had to wait ages for our main course. Plates were removed from our table before everyone had finished. The bill was presented to us before we got our coffee. There were plenty of empty tables so not sure why we were rushed out. We meet up monthly and have had much better experiences at other restaurants in Kings Street. Probably won’t go back here.

    Have always come to maxwells when in London and today was very disappointed, terrible service, a menu that has been severely cut back and managers who didn’t seem to care less

    Unfortunately I didn’t have the best meal. We was sit in the restaurant for about 20 minutes before we was asked what we wanted to drink or eat. I understand it was very busy so I didn’t complain l, but needs to be quicker. I then was recommended the ribs and told they fall off the bone but instead they was cooked, but not enough as they didn’t fall off the bone and was very tough. Also not enough sauce. Chips were okay. My starter of Mac n cheese balls were nice. My partner also had the burger and it was very average aswell. I feel bad giving this review but I feel the quality needs to be better during busy times like Xmas so you don’t ruin the reputation.
