Mazel Tov restaurant and bar opened at the end of July 2014 as a place with a real Mediterranean feel, which we want to preserve regardless of the season, with an open garden in summer and a heated garden in winter. Since its establishment, the aim of the Mazel Tov has been to create an open-minded, gastronomically and culturally determined, relaxed atmosphere,where everyone who wants to come in to relax, experience cultural or culinary delights or drinks with friend is welcome.

restaurant looks very well, service were kind, the choise of meal large, but the taste of it wasnt so good, something was not even possible to eat (eggplants, tahini dip)

Atmosphere fantastic and great music. Wine delicious and food very much dependent on what you order as some dishes were hit and miss and others absolutely amazing! Some staff incredibly friendly whilst others a little less so. Only thing was I made a special request as it was my moms birthday, I.e just plate the dessert with a “happy birthday” or even if one of the staff wished her etc as I prebooked a month and a half in advance - but it didn’t register to anyone so that was a little disappointing.

Congratulations are due to Mazel Tov for employing someone who is quite possibly one of the rudest waitresses we’ve ever encountered. We had booked ahead for dinner on 14th September at 7:30pm. We arrived a little early and were seated quickly enough. We were excited to be here after reading the reviews and our daughter had enjoyed dinner here a few months before, recommending it to us. Having been left alone for a while, our waitress came and took our drinks order. I’ve no idea what happened next but, having read that the staff were happy make recommendations and suggestions, we asked her for some guidance. I mentioned the dish just served to the ladies on the next table, wanting to know what it was. Our waitress proceeded to look at us with such an awful sneer. In a voice dripping with contempt, she said “Well, how hungry are you? I don’t know if you want a starter and main...” It wasn’t so much what she said but how. We were made to feel as if we’d committed an awful act. She didn’t even wait for our response so we chose to leave and told the staff at the front desk. They seemed sorry but then the same waitress appeared and seemed totally unperplexed by our departure. To be made to feel so bad is just wrong. We’d so looked forward to this place and it was one of the biggest disappointments we’ve ever had when eating out. No doubt Mazel Tov will not care or respond. They’re always busy so why should they care about some guests that one of their staff had treated like dirt.

We were ignored after our main course was collected. We wanted more drinks but it seemed the waiters actively refused to look at us or come near us. We left without any more drinks. Shame.

The "Mazel Tov" is a cool place with live music / DJ and good food. Depending on where you sit, it can be a bit chilly as you are virtually sitting outside. The service is ok, but not great, the size of the portions is rather small.
