   Very unique and fun restaurant. Atmosphere very nice. Food was very good, but service extremely slow. May have been issues within kitchen. However, server was slow to keep us informed about what was going on. Had to cancel my wine order when it failed to arrive before I finished my entree, but wine still appeared on my bill. Probably would go back to give them another try as the place and its history was very intriguing.

   A busy Mother’s Day meal - but food was very good, service was attentive and friendly on this very busy day, and vibe was welcoming.

   It was Mother's Day. We made a reservation for 2:15 waited 20 minutes to be seated. When we got to the table the waitress informed us it would be an hour wait to receive our food. It really did take an hour to receive a hamburger, chicken and cheese sandwiches. After all that they were average to below average in taste. At least they were hot. The menu was extremely reduced from the regular one and the prices were jacked up. For 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks the bill came to $100.00. We normally like this Mcmenamins but not sure we will go back again

   Our service today on Mother's Day was sub-par. We were seated at 9:45 am and no one came to our table for at least 15 minutes. NO water or coffee. The restaurant was not busy at all as there were several open tables. We were finally greeted by our waiter who said he had just gotten there. He took our orders for drinks and breakfast. It took another 15 minutes just to get coffee and drinks. When the food came it was cold to lukewarm at best, although the food tasted all right. I thought the Balck Rabbit was more upscale, but I was sadly disappointed. The waiter was pleasant enough but needed a helper, someone who runs out coffee, drinks and the like. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning.

   Jake was really helpful, with an immediate response when my wife's soup wasn't hot enough. The entrees came before we finished the apps, but all the food was very good.

   It was Easter evening and their main focus was a buffet brunch, so food choices and beverages were limited. We had an outstanding server who took excellent care of us. Artichoke/Crab appetizer was wonderful, as was my drink, Plymouth Fog.

    Two of us went to the Black Rabbit Restaurant for an Easter meal. We each had an item off the Easter Special menu. The smoked salmon ravioli was very good despite the number of peas it was topped with. The Belgian waffle was quite disappointing as it had a few measly berries on top sprinkled with a little powdered sugar. Our waitress brought out some blueberry compote which helped, but still it wasn't very "special."
