   We love this restaurant. Our experience was completely compromised when our waiter told us the menu price was wrong and stated it would be not $49, but $55 per prix fixe meal. A restaurant of this stature surely could have reprinted the menu to reflect the correct price. Imagine going into a store, picking a product off the shelf only to find out at check-out that you must pay more. Ain't gonna happen, It may be awhile before we go bacik.

   I recently dined at Mediterrano in Naples, and I have to say, their seafood paella with lobster was absolutely outstanding. The dish was a true showstopper, featuring succulent lobster, perfectly cooked shrimp, and tender mussels, all sitting atop a bed of flavorful, saffron-infused rice. The lobster, in particular, was incredibly fresh and sweet, adding a luxurious touch to the dish. The balance of flavors was spot-on, with a subtle smokiness and depth that made each bite even better than the last. The portion was generous, and the presentation was both elegant and inviting. If you’re in Naples and love seafood, this paella is a must-try. Highly recommend Mediterrano for an exceptional dining experience.

   While we had enjoyed several visits to Mediterrano in the past, our most recent experience there was very disappointing. The service was rushed and extremely unprofessional. Wait staff and buss staff reaching across the table, and our faces, to serve and drip both water and sauces was terrible. One of our 4 meals was dropped on the floor during service and when the kitchen rushed to replace that meal the replacement shrimp were served undercooked and over sauced…that meal was returned to the kitchen and we declined a third try. The other three meals and our appetizers were all very tasteful and were it not for the poor service would have been most enjoyable. Mediterrano has declined significantly since our last visit and we will bypass it in the future.

    Overall dinner was great. The octopus app perfect, tender as we’ve ever had and very flavorful. Greek salad was traditional with no greens and high quality ingredients. Seafood paella included lots of seafood, was served piping hot and overall was good. The dulmeh (vegi dollmades / grape leaves) were mush. Rice mushed with vegis with little flavor. They’re definitely a miss. The baklava was very short on nuts with little of that crunch we look forward to from the phyllo
