   Recommend the haloumi warm appetizer, the fattoush, chicken shwarma. Will be back to try more. Seasoning of our dishes was excellent, Good neighborhood spot, although prices are a just bit high for it to be a frequent option

   It was a gorgeous October day and we ate outside--slightly noisy on the street. But the food was great and came quickly. We had haloumi and fermented cheese appetizers. My lamb chops were the best I've ever had--tender and seasoned so well. Loved them.

   I don’t know where I start. Restaurant interior and ambiance was very nice but food was mediocre at the best . Honestly whole food has better Hummus and pita bread. We ordered dip samplers, grape vines , several cold appetizers( even though some of appetizers were hot appetizers but they were all cold so I am calling cold appetizers collectively) and salad and entrees, specifically asked to space out , but everything comes out immediately like food court after we ordered including entrees( we didn’t even finish appetizers but entrees came out ) entrees dishes were lukewarm I do understand this kind of restaurant, tapas type dishes can come out as prepared but at least server can tell kitchen to space out entrees come out when appetizers dishes finish and clear table. But server didn’t care. Also they did charge mandatory tip of 20% which I don’t mind 20% itself since I always pay 20% tips but they they sneakily try to charge more tips ( there was option of tips again before signing total amount when they already included in the bill ) There are many other better restaurants in this area and I am not coming back. Food court food/ quick service at the best but expensive. No thank you .

   I would recommend MeJana and plan to return when we come back to DC. Our meal was delicious! I had kafta and my husband, the chicken. Would not have changed a thing. You should go!

    The food here is good. The hummus is delicious, some of the best I’ve had. Portions are moderate, not overly large but enough. Desserts are a bit disappointing. Service was attentive.
