Spent much time to choose this restaurant based on the reviews. Reservations made for St. Valentines. Arrived, and we were told our table was not ready, so were directed to the bar, where after waiting 30 minutes were served our first course..at the bar! After another 30 minute wait, eere brought at our table. This is where a bad start became a nightmare, making me feel embarrassed for my loved-one to have chosen this place. Have to say, that all dishes were delicious, and well-explained..except for the porcelet dish, which was over-cooked, tough, and not seasoned. The reason i gave such a low rating, was the service! Despite 1. Promises from the waitress that our dishes were arriving in one minute..the wait was much, much longer. This happened fir each course. Despite apologies from both the chefs and wait staff, saying they were not prepared, the meal ended up being four hours! The wait staff upon paying the bill added that she would understand if i didn’t leave a tip. I did, nonetheless, leave a tip as i felt it was bot her fault..the fault remains with the owners who obviously did not plan accordingly, and did not make an effort to ‘’make things right’’. Nothing was offered in terms of an extra or a reduction in the price of $110 per person. Bot cool, not professional. As part of their excuse..’’we’ve only been opened for 3 months. Too bad, because as mentioned during our meal, the chef was a participant of Top Chef. This experience is not Top Chef territory. As much as the Top Chef apologized, he made insufficient effort to rectify..as any Good or Top Chef would do. Sad, because i would have liked to experience another meal here.
