   The food unfortunately didn’t excite us. I don’t mind small menus but it was hard for us to choose from the options. The tempura shrimp are bomb though and so are the cocktails. The sister restaurant Mahaniyom is untouchable

   Would not recommend to my friends. The food was mediocre—I wouldn’t recommend the duck confit with fries. The dish was served cold, and the fat had completely soaked the fries, making them unappetizing. The salmon portion was disappointingly small, more like two pieces of nigiri, and it was drowned in a flavorless broth. That said, the service was excellent—fast and accommodating. The drinks were creative, but one was served in a glass that had been chipped and sanded down, making it feel like drinking from broken glass, which was off-putting.

   The food was fantastic, an interesting blend of Thai, Indian and American comfort food. The service was very attentive and the food was delivered quickly. It's restaurant itself loud and the seating intimate.

   Merai is a great little bar with unique and delicious small plates. The service is cheerful and welcoming. We had the mussels, salmon, and pork dumplings – all tasty.

   Everything here is wonderful. You really can't go wrong. Favorites are the mussels and chicken and rice. Cocktails are fun and tasty.

   Delicious, innovative spins on Thai dishes. We absolutely loved two of the specials - thai nachos with massaman stew and hamachi crudo with mango sauce - as well as the signature hotdog and onigiri with chashu pork from the regular menu. Friendly, attentive service, great drinks, and a cool vibe. The total bill was also not as high as I expected for the amount of ordered. Would definitely return!

    I don't often write reviews, and I have mixed feelings about writing this one because this restaurant is already hard enough to get a reservation!! And deservedly so. The food, drinks and service were all outstanding. Possibly the best hot dog I have ever had. The curry pot pie was ok, but everything else we tried, and it was a lot, was absolutely delicious. We were seated in a corner table by the window, which was right under one of the speakers, so the music was a bit loud for us, but not so loud as to detract. Otherwise, the ambiance is fun and casual. When we return, we likely will request seats at the bar, which we prefer. The cost is in line with other urban establishments. We ordered a lot of food as mentioned and had two drinks each, and the total with tip was about $115 each. The portion sizes are tapas style, so not individually huge, but the quality and flavors make up for the smaller size. We will be back for sure!
