   Very disappointing experience. Waited 45-minutes for the seafood opera and they gave us the wrong item. Disgusted by the absence of the staff throughout the evening as well. I’ll never go back.

   Spent our birthdays there with a friend on a quiet January night. Eleni was very attentive to our table and guided us well through the menu. Loved the food and portions! Will come back!!

   Brought my wife for her birthday. Have eaten in many places in Williamsburg but this was the first time dining at Meraki. The staff made us feel welcomed and was very pleasant Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. For appetizers we ordered the goat cheese and beet salad which was huge and the Meza & Trio very good! We also order the grilled octopus which was not very good ( smelled abit too fishy, that is why I gave it food 4 stars). We shared the family platter the Meraki Gyro Platter. A small platter for the 4 of us it was huge and more than enough. Had desert. All was Delicious. Enjoyed the wine. Will be definitely coming back. Thank you Meraki team!

   Somehow I just knew when I stepped in Meraki with its white stucco walls and blue shutters that I was in for an excellent Greek meal. It may also have been because one of the staffers (maybe a Manager) was singing in Greek. I had the Branzino ($50) with a Greek Salad, lemon potatoes and roasted vegetables! The fish was deboned and meaty, grilled perfectly. I love when the skin is grilled crispy with a bit of char. Fantastic!! The Greek salad was Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!! The dressing so very tasty!! The grilled vegetables fresh and roasted to perfection…you know because the sweetness of the veggie comes through. I was encouraged to try something different for my dessert. I usually do Baklava which I still ordered but in addition, I ordered the Bougatsa! My first time experiencing Bougatsa. Was sooooooo flaky, warm and yummy! The sprinkled powdered sugar and cinnamon reminds me of Ilalian Fried Dough however Bougatsa has more to offer with the crème center. The service was incredible. Dimitri our server was so accommodating and kind. Dimitri spoke with us about his hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece explaining how he came to receive his name Dimitri. Truly a kind spirit. But I think one must have a kind spirit in order to be employed at Meraki because ALL of the staff we encountered was so kind! Meraki has become my new favorite Greek restaurant in Brooklyn and perhaps all of NYC!

    Food was pretty tasty and service fantastic. Well priced and well portioned. The enclosed backyard is very cute, better than the main seating area.
