   We were going to see a movie at Compass Entertainment which is where the Meridian restaurant is located inside. We decided to eat there so we could just walk around the corner to the movie. The service was great, the food was very good and the prices very reasonable. It is not an extensive menu but there should be something on it for everyone to enjoy.

   Great Sunday after church lunch! We started with the crab dip and then had the dijon salmon and fish & chips with a side crab cake! And for dessert, we had the lemon pie which was delicious! Our server was attentive and helpful with the menu selections. We will be back again!

   Where to start? I truly do not to give a bad review on our local eateries but..... No one greeted us...we had a reservation. A surly bus girl slammed about and groused to everyone...staff, diners, bartender. She chased everyone about with aggressive gestures. Our "meal".....fish and chips...they forgot the chips and it took them 15 minutes to bring them to the table, by then fish cold and frankly badly prepared. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with Korean sauce. Chicken suspiciously undercooked, sauce very tasty, included chips obviously sitting around, undercooked and cold. We felt like we were in a Seinfeld skit. Our server, Stacy was very sweet and tried her best but the bus girl was chasing her about and hindering her efficiency. What a weird night

   Crab dip was wonderful. Always a nice option for Sunday lunch as there are not many places open in the Northern Neck on Sunday.

   Our first time here for lunch on a holiday Monday since they expanded the restaurant to a fully enclosed area. Ambience is excellent, with tables far enough apart to have private conversations, and the totally carpeted floor diminishes any noise from other diners. It is nicely decorated with lovely large windows. The service was also impeccable and i believe the server's name was Keyona, she was lovely and attentive. The food was only fair - I had the asian chicken salad with fried chicken tenders that were overcooked, the second diner had a chicken wrap which also had crispy chicken tenders, the rap was overcooked. The third diner had the Caesar salad with shrimp. Fries were great. We did make it in time for our 1pm movie there. -

   This was our 3rd time here. The other two were horrible food or service & we vowed to never return BUT there was an event tonight that my daughter wanted to attend so we did & we ate. There was ONE server for the whole restaurant (did I mention they were hosting an event night?) The food was terrible…pizza sauce is spicy & bang bang chicken had buffalo chicken sauce. My $15 chicken, broccoli rice bowl was just ok. Our poor waitress did a great job but she had to work the whole place so service was a bit slow as one could imagine. Poor job on management. There won’t be a 4th time for us.

   It is a quiet Sunday lunch spot and a way to then enjoy a movie afterwards! We had the crab dip appetizer which was fantastic! Lots of crab and cheesy and served with baguette slices. The prices of everything were good including the crab cakes which had lots of lump crab meat and no filler. We will be back again.
