   Outstanding as always Our waiter was excellent and very friendly. Food was exceptional. We had the pork and chicken, carrots as a side dish.

   The food and service at MGS is consistently excellent. The desserts were a stand-up- we shared the pavlova with jalapeno ice cream (a real surprise) and the warm cherry galette with cola icecream. Our main dishes were perfectly cooked. Service could not be faulted. Will be back ASAP. THANK YOU.

   The team, the food, the venue - all wonderful. A true local gem. We had the duck rillettes which was a perfect portion and so tasty. And the Beef Tartare was full of flavour. Two beautiful dishes. Highly recommend

   always a favorite, and did not disappoint this visit. Food out of this world, top notch service, and a beautiful setting - I can never say enough good things about the Merricks country store, definitely a stop that should be on everyone’s itinerary!!

   Deceptively simple beautiful food. Terrific service with just the right level of attentiveness. Impeccably maintained rustic decor and ambience. All came together for a memorable lunch - thank you!
