Welcome to Simply Sensational dining. From the first day, our mission has been to provide customers with exceptional cuisine and excellent service in a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. Our goal is and always will be to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Opened in 1998, Mesa Street Grill is located in El Paso's University and Medical District, and just a few blocks from downtown. Locally owned and operated, we offer a unique dining venue for the El Paso area. Our professional chefs are all graduates of Professional and/or Cordon Blue Culinary Schools. Our menus change seasonally.

Our dining areas are designed for private and pleasing conversation. Our climate-controlled patio is ideal for toasts of congratulations with business associates, friends and loved ones. Waiter couldn’t put in a drink order correctly, and messed up my girlfriends order (simple substitution - chicken instead of shrimp). When she pointed out the mistake, he said he would have it fixed right away. 20 minutes later, with my food now cold, we had everything boxed up and called it a night.

All in all a good experience. Server did a commendable job with a big group. Attentive, but not intrusive. Food quality very good, and nicely presented. Sous vide chicken looked a bit dry, but heard no complaints. Another good visit to the restaurant.

We’ve eaten there several times before and it was a completely different experience. The food was mediocre and the service was a bit slow. Large party next to us made it very loud in the patio area. We had to ask for bread while waiting for our meal which should have been brought when we sat down. Overall, just ok for dining out.

The food was excellent. Service was good until we wanted to pay. Dessert wasn’t suggested by server and we probably would have indulged but it was too late by the time we had the hostess get our server to pay.

Mesa Street Grill needs to restock the humidor and get the live entertainment back to the patio on weekends. I loved sitting on the patio with a cigar and a glass of scotch listening to the small band play. The menu used to have a better mix of reasonably priced and upscale entrees as well. It’s harder to casually dine when everything on the menu is upscale and high priced.
