   The ambiance was lovely. Our seats were perfect for our date: at the corner of the booths, where we could be right next to each other. I had the “Of the Gods” cocktail, and my boyfriend had the Manhattan; both were otherworldly. Jeremy was our server and he was amazing. All the food was delicious as well, and we left very full, with a slice of cheesecake for later. We really enjoyed our night; it was a special occasion for us, and we were very happy with our experience.

   The food was good. Portion sizes were larger then we expected. Taste was very good. Wait staff was excellent! Would go back for sure.

   We had a nice dinner before a show. Our server was fantastic in describing the menu items and wine selections. We had the peppers, salmon and octopus starters which were amazing. This was followed with the arugula and ceasar salad also wonderful. We split the short rib dinner… very good. The portions were much larger than last time we were there several years ago.

   Another great pre show meal at Metropole. Drinks and food were great. Service from Nicki and staff was superb.

   I’ve eaten here several times over many years - it is definitely gone downhill. The food was over engineered and flavor profile was horrible! We ate jackfruit bbq - shrimp was rubbery and sauce lacked flavor. Typically, we love the beet salad but tonight they switched out the greens for radicchio and it was a sea of purple mess. Why why! My friend requested an espresso martini with fresh espresso and was told we have an espresso machine but dont use it for the restaurant drinks. What! However, the sea scallops did not disappoint. The one item they hadn’t tweaked since previous visits. The shining star was definitely the dessert- graham mille feuill and the alcoholic drinks. Please Metropole get it together for a $300 meal (for 3 people) I hate to go home hungry and disappointed!

   It was our anniversary. The food was amazing and Jeremy, our waiter, was outstanding. We were never rushed. In fact, we were there for 3 hours.

    Highly recommend the braised beef short ribs. My husband said they were the best he ever had. I recommend the sea scallops as well, excellent!
