   The staff was lovely. THe art fabulous. The food was awful. Fluke was terrible cut. Horrible presentation. Huge oval plate with way too much carrot sauce with dots of basil, orange, pomegranate. Three sad pieces of fluke in the center. Needs to be served in a smaller vessel And rethought. Steak was very sweet but again plating issue. The pickled vegetables needed to be on the plate with the meat so the diner understood the sweetness of the very grisly piece of meat was offset. I love Samuelsson’s other venues. This was a huge disappointment.

   The food was amazing, each dish was full of depth and flavor from the starters all the way to the desert.I could of drank that Flying Fish Cocktail all night. The DJ was also exceptional. 10/10 would recommend

   THANKS to front man RUBIN! WONDERFUL. I turned up TOO early...by ONE MONTH !! with 8 noisy, happy & very dressed-up friends to celebrate my Anniversary. My huge messup! Rubin was amess-up! Calm & professional. He elegantly told me not to panic. He would be right back after checking what he could do! We happily waited. A Smiling came back & I was so thrilled we walked arm in arm thru the room ( I was in HIGH heels) he thanked ME for being a loyal OPEN TABLE DINER & for being so nice! They were able to shuffle spaces and put us at a HUGE wooden table it almost like a communal table for 12! Rubin hoped we would not mind if the band was a bit loud. We did NOT the band was PERFECT & blended in with the atmosphere. Rubin was kind, professional and saved my ENTIRE weekend. He also went with the flow of my Italian/Australian banter admitting what an idiot I was & clearly my happy chatter as he lead me to our table was thanks to him & the professionals at METROPOLIS. OH the FOOD YES! it was GREAT lots of platters to share. . Brussels sprouts a tad oily but WOW! The CRUDO PLATTER was a ART EASEL of colour & taste. The cheese fries MIRACULOUSLY had no visible cheese just the flavor taste, supercrispy & SKINNY! I don't remember the rest I was so happy! Go. It's fun and you can dress up & actually be seen.

   Absolutely incredible experience from the ambience, aesthetics, and music. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about every menu item and gave us a wonderful breakdown of popular pairings to choose from. The unexpected star of the show were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. They were perfect and a must!

   I dined here with a work colleague for lunch. The space is beautiful and I bet it would be lovely for a drink before a show.

   Absolutely fantastic. Food was superb. We had the cornbread, Swedish salad, the snapper and brisket. Amazing food. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Excited to return

    I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Metropolis. The ambiance was incredible. Getting to the location is not difficult but it's at least a couple of blocks away from the train station. When we entered the location there was a musical performance taking place in the lobby of the building. So we were able to hear that music being played from our table inside the restaurant. The first item we had was the cornbread. It was different from what I expected however, it was good in it's own way. It was moist and definitely warm. We ordered a coupe drinks. One was the yes sir. It had some of the whisky made by Beyonce. Our entrees were the Sugar Hill (fried chicken) which was delicious and the brisket. They were both tasty. Another appetizer we had was the cheesy fries. They were shoe string fries with a cheese powder. It wasn't a bunch of melted cheese, which I enjoyed.
