My review is for the Thanksgiving dinner. The food was terrible. The gravy was runny. The sweet potatoes were runny. The apple crisp was like undercooked and runny chunks of apple with no crisp. Typically this restaurant has really good food in the main dining room but they just blew it when it came to a Thanksgiving dinner. It was awful. I would not recommend this restaurant for any holiday dinners with your family.

Went to the Thanksgiving buffet. Both the food and the service were great! We would definitely go again.

The service and staff were excellent! The food unfortunately was not very good. There was an overall lack of flavor and seasoning. The menu said there would be salmon but it was cod instead. The was no pecan pie and the pumpkin pie was stale and tasted artificial.

We went to Metropolitan for the Thankgiving Buffet and we were very happy with the food and service. No buffet will be as good as home cooking, but they had a nice array of the basic TGfoods. The Turkey was excellent, very moist. They also had prime rib that was excellent and very generous portion when carved, and grilled salmon that my husband said was excellent. I’m not usually a mashed potatoes fan, especially on a buffet but these were some of the best I’ve ever had. They offered 3 types of deserts as well. They were seating in the main restaurant and in the Cosmopolitan Ballroom with the buffet set up in between so the flow was great and did not seem crowed even though it seamed full at the time we went. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and the server greeted us right away, explained the service and was taking drink orders and checking in meal. We also did not feel rushed to leave to turn the table although this may have been because we were dinning at 3pm. The price of $50 pp I thought was on par or very reasonable for the quality of buffet they presented. I will very much consider this again next year for our holiday dinner. Oh, and the view is excellent!

My food was dry and my partners was overly salt. The noise level was overwhelming.

Super fun place with easily shareable plates. Also, has a great view of the convention enter with down town in the background across the river. Check it out.

We ordered 3 entrees and 2 were inedible. We were just going to pay and leave but the server could tell we didn’t like our food so he asked us about it and we told him our complaints: my chilaquiles had egg whites that were uncooked. For me that just made me done with food. It really turned my stomach. My friend’s breakfast sandwich was sooo burnt but also dripping grease. It was very unappetizing. It’s a good thing we had shared the French toast bread pudding to start or else we would have left totally hungry. We were not charged for the inedible meals and it’s worth noting I’ve been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed my food but I don’t think this should have been sent out of the kitchen as it was.

We appreciate your feedback Aly. I am glad you enjoyed the French toast, but I am very sorry that some of the items you ordered were not up to par. I will pass your comments on so that we can address the issues you experienced. I am happy to hear you have enjoyed the food in your past visits and I know that we can and will do better on your next visit. Sincerely, Jason Dondero General Manager
