   Love the decor and having different rooms to keep the noise at an acceptable level. Loved the Huaraches With Morita Falda appetizers and will definitely be back for more! The carne asada melted in the mouth! The flourless chocolate torte was the perfect ending...best I've had - rich taste and not dry like so many tortes I've had. We will be returning soon!

   Service was slow and server never checked on us during meal, took 20 minutes to get a beverage, 4 main menu items were unavailable at 6:30 pm, food we defaulted to was mushy and flavorless. We should've sent the food back but we had a show to get to. The experience was so bad we'll never go back.

   We drove from Cleveland to spend the weekend in Grand Rapids and this restaurant is a big reason why. Absolutely incredible modern Mexican food. This time we had the salsa duo, watermelon salad, an omelette, and bistec ranchero. All excellent, flavorful, fresh, and elevated from typical Mexican food. A+.

   Everything was beautiful and delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Staff were lovely. Parking was easy. Totally recommend.

   Drinks are good. Service was pleasant. Food is really bland. Got the Wild Boar, gamey (I guess could be expected, however I’ve had it before, there is a way to cook it so that it isn’t this gamey). Poblano stuffed chicken, I think they forgot the Poblano. All sauces needed salt and pepper, just really bland.

   Ordered Baja Tacos which on the menu came with Papaya salsa…kitchen was out of the Papaya salsa and substituted Habanero Salsa instead but did not tell us. One of us was actually crying due to the extreme heat. No apology no compensation. Slow and poor service.

   We went on a Tuesday night and other than two other tables, we had the place to ourselves. We had two of the masa centric appetizers, one with chicken and mole and the other with bbq beef. Both were delicious. Then we split the timale Mexican lasagna dish with huiltcohhe which is a black corn mushroom with rich smokey flavors. Hard to find in the states but thoroughly enjoyable. We finished up with the churros, from beginning to end everything was excellent.

   The Aquachile Shrimp Ceviche offered a delightful blend of bold, fresh flavors that set it apart as a truly unique dish. I followed it up with the Carne Asada a la Tampiqueña 1939, which was nothing short of exceptional—easily one of the best flank steak dishes I've ever enjoyed. To complement the meal, I had the Palenque Margarita, which was perfectly crafted and ranks among the best Margaritas I've tasted. While the service was a little slow, it didn't detract from the experience, as we weren’t in a rush.
