   Amazing, creative, and authentic food. My wife and I sat at the bar / chef's counter which was great because we got to chat with our chef the whole time and get cool insight into all the dishes and watch them make everything. We tried the Barriga De Cerdo, Pescadilla De Marlin, and taco de cola de res, which were all delicious and would get again but our favorite dish was the Tostada de toro, it was so good we got another order instead of desert. You have to try at least a 1oz pour of mezcal too even if you're not a big mezcal fan. I forgot the name of the exact mezcal we had but they have an expert on staff that will recommend something for you, for us it was a "good beginners" mezcal. The mezcal was really good but the best part of it was what they serve the mezcal with.... I won't ruin the surprise on what it is but definitely worth trying for the experience and we found it to be surprising delicious.

   Dining at this Mexican fusion restaurant was an unforgettable experience we can’t wait to repeat! With a rotating menu, every visit offers something unique, making it well worth the cost. The flavors of each dish were exquisite and beautifully crafted, showcasing the chef’s incredible talent. For the ultimate experience, sit at the chef’s counter—you’ll be immersed in the artistry behind each plate. My top dish this time was the sweet mashed potatoes paired with tender, flavorful beef cheek—a perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. Their creative cocktails are a standout too, complementing the meal perfectly. We’ve already made a reservation for spring and are excited to see what the new menu has in store!

   Everything about this place is exceptional! We worked our way through the menu and everything we tasted was amazing. The combinations of flavors were all exquisite. The toro tostada was one of our favorite dishes. The mushrooms and the mole beef cheeks were also stand outs. We truly didn’t have an unsatisfactory bite in anything that we tried. The mezcal selection was fun and on point. Our server, Christina, along with all of the other staff, was attentive and kind and added to the whole experience. I woke up the next day still dreaming about this place. 20/10

   As good as it gets. We all hope to be taken away by explosive flavors and satisfaction during a night out, Mez Alma delivers. Fantastic service, creative plates, and flavors for days. Highly recommended.

   OMG! Please don't tell the people next door at Alma Fonda Fina that we have a new favorite restaurant. Looking forward to the new menu in a few weeks. Favorite dish? Everything on the menu. And the cocktails were amazing.

   This was a late night meal after airport pickup. Few places are open at that hour. This place was fabulous. Fresh, creative, fish forward menu. Friendly, informative service. Drinks excellent also. A wonderful addition to the Denver food scene.

   A wonderful experience. This 3rd concept by Johnny Curiel was worth the wait. Most of the menu has fish and various ways it was prepared. A nice mix of cocktails and wine plus an extensive list of tequilas and mezcal. I had the Toro Tostada, with large pieces of dry aged Toro (tuna aged on site) sitting on smashed avocado & a crisp tortilla. My entree was a grilled Baja striped bass served on a bed of black beans cassolet and mole verde. A great blend of firm flaky fish and mole. I tried their white Negroni and a creative take on a Pina Colada.

    I just spent 2 weeks in Mexico City and for me personally, this was on par or better than any meal I had there including several michelin stars. I can’t wait to go back.
