MEZCALITO was born in early 2015, when founders saw the need for a restaurant for all. Something that would meet in the middle where we could serve food and drinks for all pallets and socio-economic groups, because all deserve to have a unique experience they cannot have elsewhere- nice music, beautiful scenery, good food, and great drinks. This was then when owners overcame their own personal fears of pursuing their real dream of having something of their own after working for decades elsewhere. Always with the purpose to proudly serve flavorful and colorful meals that better describe the origins of Mexican cuisine; bringing new flare and fresh ideas by incorporating trendy and traditional authentic elements.

Food and service, amazing! Margaritas were so good. Wait staff was very attentive, we were a party of 8 celebrating 2 birthdays and brought the cake out after dinner, chanting and clapping. Never felt rushed, was a great night. Can’t wait to go back!

There were nine people in our group and everyone love their food. I have always had great service at this restaurant. It is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants.

Excellent food, great service that was brought out fast. They were very busy but stayed in tune to our tables needs with chips, refills and heaters.

Everyone was very attentive. Ambience was fun! was worried about being cold with outside seating but heaters made it comfortable. We will be back!

Mezcalito is always an experience. We had a party of 9 people yesterday, and all of us had so much fun. Great food, beautiful drinks, happy music! This is our favorite restaurant by far.

I made this reservation. Upon arriving at the establishment, they were CLOSED. I had to provide a credit card with stipulation that failure to show up would result in a charge per person (I believe it stated that charge to be $15/person). I understand this was Christmas Eve, but open table should not allow for reservations to closed restaurants.

Ambiente familiar muy rico, agradable para conversar , aunque estábamos afuera los calentadores nos hicieron la velada muy agradable, la comida deliciosa, gracias a todo el equipo de Mexcalito Clayton NC.

Todo en general estuvo muy bien. Buen servicio por parte de los meseros y no debes esperar mucho por tu comida.
