My daughter and I had dinner here pre-theatre on a Saturday night. We were having problems with the subways running from Penn Station, so I called ahead to the restaurant to let them know we were running late. They were very accommodating in holding our reservation. Food was excellent! We shared appetizers - spinach/cheese puffs, stuffed mushrooms, chicken skewers, and a mezze of 3 dips with pita bread. Will definitely return! Music is on the loud side, but we were able to talk.

Love the place.Nice and chill atmosphere and the stuff is very attentive. Definitely the best place for food and drinks in Hells Kitchen.

Went to the Meze with 8 friends for my birthday. The place lacks a bit of ambience and is a combination of restaurant , sports bar and disco... Big screens at the bar, the music was quite loud for a restaurant and the decor a bit too shiny (for my liking). The food however was surprisingly good and everybody enjoyed their dinner. I did think that it was too expensive for what it was but then it is New York and I found in general that you have to spend a considerable amount of money to get really good food. Service was ok. Once of the guys was attentive and they even gave me a piece of cake on the house for my birthday which was nice. The other guy who worked there was very clumsy and kept spilling the water and was in general a bit odd. There was also a really strong smell of air freshener which we figured out came from the toilets if the door was left open. All in all I probably would not return as there are many many other restaurants in this area...

Food was excellent! The olive tapenade and walnut spread were unbelievable. Service was terrific. Went before theater and had plenty of time to eat, drink, and enjoy some conversation with Mickey. Will definitely return
