   Just wasn’t impressed overall the raw oysters were warm, which they shouldn’t be extremely salty. I just found the food very flavourless wasn’t worth the money and it was a Saturday night and nobody was there so that would be the first clue if it’s not that great of a place when no one’s there on a Saturday night.

   Mi Cocina is tucked away from the noisy crowd just outside the door. The atmosphere is wonderful including a small band playing pretty good music in the background. The food was very good! We had been to the restaurant 13 years ago and it still had the same relaxing vibe we hoped for on this trip.

   The dining area setting was lovely, the female musical trio were talented, the food — queso fundido, Argentinian steak, mushroom tacos — was excellent only small dings were hostess couldn’t find reservation, and took almost an hour to get our bill —realizing it’s México but had to request it three times. Still, a good experience.

   Another fabulous dining experience at Mi Cocina!! Excellent food and service in a beautiful setting. The perfect complement to an evening in San Jose at the Art Walk. Lobster tacos and seafood ravioli were delicious. Can’t wait to return!

   Mi Cocina is tucked away in a beautiful courtyard. We were greeted by a beautiful lady in a beautiful blue dress. She showed us to our table and Christian was our delightful waiter. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was relaxed and there was duet who played. Their music was fun and NOT too LOUD. We shared a Springroll and I had the grilled Caesar salad with shrimp for an entree, everything was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!

    Very slow service but the food was good. Special place. Crowded on Thursday night due to the Art Walk.
