   We had several drinks, appetizers, and dinner dishes and all were tasteful and amazing. The waitress seemed tired and exhausted since the second we sat down. From the minute she offered water, she was walking away while she asked...She seemed uninterested in us. It was New Years Eve 8:30 pm so maybe she had been on her feet all day. She returned with water but sloppily filled the cups then asked basically what do we want... No asking would you like to start with a drink or appetizer nor recommendations. We had to start with, well we'll start with cocktails and a beer. When she returned we started to ask about appetizers and she was tight lipped, we don't know the deal with her. We had to pry information out of her.... It was annoying as we were looking at other tables to see what they ordered to get an idea of whats good on the menu. I feel bad for her but at same token it's her job. We did not feel welcomed. Plus she asked if we'd like to donate to the charity, which we did and we tipped her. Someone needs to speak to this lady about courtesy.

   We had an amazing time! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all great. From setting up our table reservation to our server, Debra, who was super helpful with her recommendations, everything was perfect.

   I've been eating at Michael's regularly for over a decade. The food is consistently excellent--creative and inspired. It is one of the few places in Miami where you can reliably get good service. Finally, outdoors is quiet--meaning you can have a conversation without straining to hear. I'm not even sure they play background music. Michael's is a gem! Prices, however, have gone up quite dramatically in the last 2 or so yrs. But they're inflated everywhere around town. In short, meal is not cheap, but you will enjoy yourself very much.

   Very good food and service is good. We were not rushed despite the fact that it was very busy. Don’t miss the tuna crudo. The valet in front is the only problem. We waited in line for at least 10 minutes before he told us they were full. Did not direct us where we could park but we finally found a spot in a garage. Give yourself time because Michael’s is worth it.

   I took family to Michael’s one last time this year, and was dreaming with the Raviolo I saw in one of their posts on instagram. Well, that day there was no Raviolo on the menu, it was replaced by ‘Caccio & Pepe’ pasta. I ordered it, but it was not the Italian recipe. The home made pasta was excellent, but it tasted black pepper and parsley, there was a raw egg yolk on top and zero pecorino cheese. And was served cold.

   Word to the wise: Secure a reservation before arriving. This place gets packed during the holiday season.
