   As always one of my favorite places in Miami. The front desk is welcoming, read’s reservation notes, and makes you feel special. Gianluca was a fantastic server, always at hand, and a real treat

   We visit this restaurant frequently and we have always reviewed it with high marks and recommended it as one of our favorite casual place to go and eat. Our most recent experience was quite different than usual. The food was not prepared to the usual quality. When we pointed that out no effort was made to rectify the situation. Also, this restaurant used to have an amazing ribeye steak on the menu. They have recently removed this item and put in place an oven baked piece of beef that is in no way comparable. We can no longer recommend this restaurant.

   Service could have been better, and our order of chips were stale. Not our best experience at this establishment. Not sure we will return, which is a shame because we used to love it.

   It’s a great spot to people watch in the design district., especially with visitors. The food this visit was mid (side salad was wilted and pieces were brown, the breakfast pizza was overcooked with the yolk very hard, the kimchi Benedict was great), but our server was fantastic! The manager was going table to table asking if everyone was enjoying and I believe she saw we put the plate with brown wilted lettuce off to the side, then skipped our table. Still had a good time.

   Michael’s seemed a little tired last night. The food was average. I had the snapper. While the fish was good, it was over spicy so you could hardly taste the fish. I have visited Michael’s many many times I question whether I will go again.
