   We are so thrilled to have learned about Michael’s! Thank you, Amy, for serving us so beautifully — everything about our dinner was amazing! Brussels sprouts were our absolute favorite ever. We will return!

   From the very first bite, the beef carpaccio set the tone for an unforgettable meal. Every bite was light yet incredibly flavorful—a true testament to high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. The Tomahawk steak was cooked to absolute perfection, this massive cut of beef was seared beautifully on the outside, locking in the juices, while the inside remained tender, bursting with rich, smoky flavor. The charred crust had just the right amount of crispness and the steak was nothing short of phenomenal. Every element of the meal, from presentation to execution, was top-tier! This combination is a must-try.

   We were very excited to try this restaurant given the reviews, enticing menu and it’s location in the hotel at Vilano Beach. We were seated on the patio which was fine as the weather was perfect. The interior restaurant was so lovely, would have really enjoyed the ambiance. Three in our party. Took longer than I expected to be met by our server and receiving beverages. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently thereafter. Appetizer of beef empanadas (2 moderate sized with great flavor and texture) Cocktail with the tangerine foam was fresh and delightful. Main entrees we ordered the dry aged ribeyes which were cooked perfectly and deliciously seasoned.Market veggies a little bland but good. Son enjoyed the swordfish. For dessert, we had tres leches (delicious) and the key lime pie/mousse cake was very dry. In a nutshell, the food was very good. For the price, we spent over $300 not including tip. I appreciate the aesthetic value of this restaurant, definitely pricey.

   Nice variety of menu options and wine selection. Food was very good. A lot of extra people waiting on the table but it took a long time for food to arrive. We were seated at 5:50 and at 7:45 we were rushing out the door to make an 8:00 show. Asking for our check when the entrees arrived. I had a salad as my entree and request a protein I was given one option. Chicken. When I asked if salmon was possible (on the menu) I was told no. Local oysters were fabulous. Ten dollars for bread service seemed over the top and when it came even more so. Way more flavored butter than needed for two oversized bread sticks. They were very good…thankfully. My husband had the ribeye and it was wonderful but a friend had the filet and it was undercooked as compared to her order. No time to ask for it to be cooked more. No time for desert. Will not go in the future is time is short.

   The atmosphere was lovely, the food was okay and the prices high. The wine list was ridiculous. We had 4 different entrees. The steak Diane was very good, the swordfish and the steak frites were okay and the mofongo was less than good.

   Excellent, excellent! We had heard a lot about Chef Michael but never been before in one of his restaurants. Excellent food and service in Michael’s. Is presented as a steakhouse but has a great variety of latin fusion plates. Very proud of his origin from Puerto Rico, the same as us. We had the shrimp mofongo and it was superb. One of the best mofongo plates we ever had. And do not miss ordering the bread. It is great! And for dessert the tres leche is very good. We will never miss going to Michael’s when we go to St. Augustine. Great place and great ambiance.

   Highly recommended . Everything is top notch from the wine selections to the deserts. Some of the best dishes we have had. Service was great and a night cap at the rooftop bar to watch the sunset is hard to beat. If you are looking for an outstanding meal, service and ambience look no further. Hats off to chef Michael and the staff! Well done! Can’t wait to come back soon.

    The food and service was wonderful! My filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned, cut so easily and basically melted in your mouth. We also loved the bananas foster dessert and can’t wait to come back to try more things!
