MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

    I’m from NYC, and I can honestly say this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Boston. I still can’t believe how lucky I was to stumble upon this place and start the new year with such an incredible meal. Every single dish blew me away. We started with the arancini, Caesar salad, Sicilian mussels, and Maplebrook burrata. The focaccia was amazing too—it’s not a must since the starters already come with an assortment of breads, but if you pair it with the burrata, trust me, it’s worth it. We were so caught up in how good everything tasted that we practically forgot to breathe. Every bite was pure magic. For the main dishes, we had lasagna, bucatini, gnocchi, and shrimp carbonara. The shrimp carbonara? Absolute perfection. I can’t stop thinking about it—it was hands down my favorite. Also, don’t forget to get their tiramisu. I’m still thinking about that one. On top of the incredible food, the service was so warm and attentive, which just made the whole experience even more special. I left feeling so grateful and honestly moved. This place is something truly special.

    Loved celebrating New Year’s Eve at Mida for the second year in a row. The food was delicious as always, and the wine pairing was perfect! There was also a sparkling wine toast to end 2024.

    Great food. Went there for the 7 pastas dinner and every plate was better than the previous one. Great place to go, the lighting, the food and the drinks are exceptional.

    We went to MIDA after the theater. Warm on a freezing day with exceptional food and we loved the staff!

    My wife and I had the Caesar salad appetizer, short rib lasagna and rock shrimp carbonara for mains, and the Tiramisu for dessert. The Caesar with anchovies was delicious. The mains were good but not outstanding. The short rib lasagna could have used a little more cheese but the meat was delicious. The tiramisu dessert was delicious but maybe not for everyone. My wife didn’t like the presentation with the espresso being poured on at the table as she thought it was too much espresso but I thought it was great. The pre-dinner Negroni was probably one of the best I’ve had in Boston.
