   What a fantastic experience. Fantastic food. Nice and hot. Our server was phenomenal. Very attentive. We will be back for sure.

   3 very good dishes - chicken curry, pork chop and ramen with Korean short ribs. Nice to see the restaurant so busy on a Saturday night. Great service. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

   We went out for lunch to celebrate 2 x Birthdays. We were not rushed, we had time to have conversation, we were not ignored. The food was hot, the service was great. We will be back...

   It would have been 5 stars all around except they sat a couple with baby beside us on the lounge side on a Friday night which is not the vibe we were going for. Please don’t seat kids in the lounge.

   The calamari app was over processed and not authentic. The gnocchi dish was not great and the wine we ordered at the same time as placing our orders did not arrive until our meals were 1/2 consumed. We had at least 4 different people serve our table and while that might sound great it most certainly was not. The resulting delays (poor hand off/ lack of ownership?) and lack of continuity did not result in a good experience.

   The great part: Our order was well taken care of by chef and their kitchen, and the food was excellent and flavourful. The disappointing part: Our server was forgetful throughout the evening and the noise was disruptive to our conversation. This took some of the pleasure away from our experience at milestones that evening. NOTE - the kitchen really did an exceptional job and we both enjoyed it. It saved the evening for us and truly was delectable.

   The lovely hostess seated us at a great table and we anticipates a wonderful, leisurely brunch. Unfortunately everything after that was sub par. It took ten minutes before we were offered water and drinks. Then after waiting again to place our order it took about forty minutes for the food to arrive. I had to send the scrambled eggs back because they were undercooked. This is not my first time at this location ordering this meal, just the first time the eggs were undercooked. The potatoes were not warm when they arrived the first time and were even less so the second time. While I didn’t expect a replacement meal I had hoped the kitchen would have checked to see that everything was hot. Our server (who was very nice) was notably absent for long periods of time while 3-4 other servers were much more visible. Getting a hot water refill took over 20 minutes, as both me and my dining companion kept an eye out for our server. We discovered later that there was a very large group seated around a corner from us and we speculated that perhaps that was the reason she was not around much. I concluded that the restaurant (both servers and staff were not equipped to handle the demand at the time). Or, we were unlucky victims of statistics, as a table that came in half an hour we did and was seated directly behind us, ordered within ten minutes of arriving and had their meal delivered literally two minutes after ours. The only positive thing I can say about this experience is that the hostess made us feel very welcome and offered us a choice of seating. She is definitely an asset to the restaurant. :

    Our meals at Milestones Kanata were very good and the service and ambience were fabulous. We'll certainly dine there again !
