   When being seated we where taken past two nice window booths to an table at the end of restaurant and facing the wall. We requested change but was denied and told the window tables were reserved. In the past we have been told you couldn’t reserve the windows. Watched and during the entire time no one was seated at one of the window tables. Wine was on sale but told only way to get the sale was for everyone to drink the same wine.

   James was an amazing server. He was upbeat, funny, positive and attentive to our needs. We really enjoyed his service. The food was amazing, I can't say enough about the taste and quality.

   We waited for at least 10 mins, after being seated, for our waiter to come by and give us water. My husband ordered the goat cheese and beet salad with a piece of salmon and he said it was very good. I ordered the fish tacos and fries. Fish tacos were very good but the fries were terrible. My husband had some and he also commented on how bad they were. When I made the booking online I said we were celebrating our anniversary. Why ask if you are celebrating something special if you then don't acknowledge it? Waiter was very good and all in all a pretty good experience.

   Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow however it was very busy with a couple of large tables. We appreciated the offer of free dessert because our order took quite awhile. Unfortunately it was very loud and we were unable to have an intimate conversation.

   Excellent food, busy but not too noisy. Server was very polite and attentive but did not hover. My wife have dined here every time we visit Victoria and have never been disappointed. Miss the Mongolian Pork chops though.
