Right across the street from Arena Stage... convenient and enjoyable pre-show dinner. The Honey Old Bay Wings are possibly the best wings we've ever had.

They had a DJ playing music but it was way too loud, we had a party of 7 and we couldn’t have a good conversation with each other without screaming. We felt like we were in a club. Only two out of the seven enjoyed their food, and those two had the same thing. The food had no real flavor and taste. We took company from out of town here and we were so dissatisfied and disappointed. We will not be returning, there are so many other better restaurants at the wharf.

The food was generally good to very good and the drinks were very good. A little pricey but somewhat acceptable with the location and general food quality. However, the service is lacking attention to detail and very slow. The waiters/servers were generally nice but not professional. The lacking details included no utensil after being seated for 10 min, serving wrong order 2 times before serving the correct one, serving a latte cold not warm (I still don’t understand how they got an expresso shot that was cold and how the server didn’t notice that it was refrigerator cold when he brought it by hand to the table), and no spoon to stir the latte just to name a few. To top it off, we waited almost 2hrs for sandwiches and 1 drink each for a party of 2. This is my second time at the Wharf location and both times had similar problems. I thought the first time was just new business start up issues so I did not submit a review but this is no longer a new business and the problems are exactly the same. I would like to support the business but I do not think I will return - at least not for a long time.

Some of the nicest restaurant staff I’ve met in DC and all of the food literally melted in my mouth it was so good! Definitely recommend trying the butter biscuits with homemade peach jam as an appetizer.

Overall the food and experience was great. Would have loved to not been seated in the back by the restrooms especially with having a reservation. People without reservations got seated in the general seating area. So I did not get to experience the actual restaurant atmosphere. Other than that I enjoyed everything.

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Parking was right underneath which was great. The restaurant was not crowded and we had a great table by the window. Our serer was attentive to us and she even gave us some reccommendations for an appetizer and mocktails, after we told her it was our first time dining here. We chose the biscuits which were warm, nice and buttery for an appetizer. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits and I had the Jambalaya for our main courses The food was good - presentation was on point. My only critisim would be for my dish - I felt like the sauce for my Jambalaya would have been alittle thicker, along with maybe another scoop of rice. Now I'm aware I had a brunch order but I still felt the sauce could have been thicker. As for portion sizes, my wife and her friend could not finish their meals so we boxed them. I would recommend this location for brunch - We are looking forward to checking out dinner in a few weeks.

Great ambiance and service! I had the seafood salad and the grilled shrimp and chunks of crab were delicious and there was a nice combination of bacon, eggs, cucumber and tomatoes on a lightly dressed bed of kale as well. The presentation was delightful to the eye and composed beautifully. I will look forward to another visit in the future!
