This is hands down my favorite steakhouse in the city. I come here as often as I can and anytime I have a celebration this is my first choice. Not one dish has been bad! They are all very good and the consistency stays the same. My favorite is definitely the table side caesar salad and caviar service. The Japanese A5 Wagyu is to DIE for. The service is always top tier and they treat you like family. Try it out you will not be disappointed.

When we walked into the restaurant, the only people who greeted us were the guys behind the bar. We stood around awkwardly and waited for about 10 minutes before the hostess arrived from upstairs. Once she arrived, her personality was a bit flat. She checked in with the group before us, took them upstairs, and went for another 10 minutes while we waited. Two other couples came in during this time, and they, too, thought it was awkward and asked us if we had been helped already. When she showed up, she helped the couple who came in last before assisting the other couple. Not a good first impression by not having anyone to greet guests properly when they arrive. Secondly, be careful when ordering sparkling water. They kept opening one bottle after the other without asking if we wanted more. That part of the bill was over $30. We dine out a lot, and we have never had this happen before. Otherwise, our experience was excellent; the waiter and other staff were fantastic, and we enjoyed our food. Work on the front door etiquette, as first impressions can set the tone for the rest of the experience.

Enjoyed our meal but it felt a bit rushed for a special night out. We could have easily been done in one hour had we not tried to relax and order dessert. The filet and Caesar salad were excellent. The fries were good but not our favorite steak house fries. A bit too greasy. There really ought to be better non-steak options. Dover sole for $100+ or steelhead trout for $70 a bit steep and the only chicken dish was very heavy/fried.

We have been before and love it. The crafted cocktail was a great start. The Otsters were the perfect size and so fresh. The Caesar Salad was prepared table side, so good. The New York steak was delicious and with their house wire.

Our first visit to this Michelin star restaurant Miller and Lux was an intriguing introduction to upscale dining. From the moment we walked in, the elegant ambiance set the stage for an evening of culinary exploration. We sampled a selection of dishes that truly highlighted the chef’s skill. The Tomahawk steak was a standout—perfectly cooked and bursting with rich, savory flavors that hinted at careful seasoning and precision in technique. The truffle mac and cheese was delightfully creamy and comforting, a modern twist on a classic dish that left us craving another bite. The salad provided a refreshing contrast with its crisp, vibrant ingredients, made tableside, while the deviled eggs were a playful yet sophisticated nod to traditional flavors, elevated with subtle, unexpected accents. Service throughout the meal was friendly and attentive, though it didn’t quite reach the impeccable standards often associated with Michelin star dining. The staff maintained a warm and polite demeanor, but there were moments when the level of personalized attention could have been sharper. As expected with a Michelin star establishment, the cost was on the higher end. While the prices reflect the quality of the ingredients and the artistry of the presentation, it’s important for diners to be aware that this is a premium dining experience. In summary, despite the service falling just short of stellar, the exceptional food quality and creative dishes made this first Michelin star experience truly memorable. For those willing to indulge in a high-end culinary adventure, Miller and Lux offers a gratifying taste of innovative cuisine and refined flavors.
