   The food and service were outstanding. The view was amazing. I would highly recommend Mim’s as a not to miss restaurant.

   We had a reservation for 8:45pm and arrived early. We got a drink at the bar and were shown our table. We sat there for a total of an hour, and no server ever came over to the table. Every waitress in the establishment, as well as the manager or owner (who sat us at our table) walked by and didn't stop even one time. A family sat behind us and they had a server come up to their table within 5 minutes. The family was of a different ethnic decent than us, and everyone felt we were being discriminated against. We got up and left.

   Mim’s never disappoints! The food is wonderful and the service exceptional! Bubbles took care of our table and made us feel welcome from minute 1. She gave great recommendations and was just lovely to chat with. The end of our meal was capped off with a stunning moonrise.

   The food is excellent - be patient. You are on island time; as people have said in other reviews. We arrived at 7:30pm and our food did not arrive until 9pm. We were hungry at 7:30pm and you can imagine by 9pm we were hangry. It was worth the wait. We had the curry lobster and snapper almondine and both were excellent - large portions and could not finish. Maybe next time we will order an appetizer and split an entree?

   We had a great time! So shocked at the server for picking up it was my birthday. Everyone was lovely and we had a great time!

   This was our second time at mom’s this week. First time service, food, and quality of the wine was spectacular. Last night - not so much. Our server was extremely slow and not attentive. I received a side dish I did not order, my fish was overdone and dry and tasted like it sat too long under a heat lamp waiting for pickup by server. Wine tasted “old” and like bottom of the bottle.(same wine ordered previously was perfect). Server did not come back with second round of drinks - hostess finally did. Waited a long time for her to return following completion of the meal and let her know we did want to order desert. After an extended period with no sign of server, we got up and left. Very disappointed. But, my husband’s red snapper was delicious and cooked perfectly.
