   My husband and I came from Richmond, VA and heard about this restaurant so we had to come check it out. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mr. Keith checked-in and immediately seated. Our waitress was Kendell who was phenomenal she provided us with great suggestions for food and drink. My husband had the old fashion smoked tequila I had the Mesqui. For appetizer my husband had the philly cheese steak eggrolls. For entrees I had the catfish with collards and 5 Mac n Cheese, my husband had Cajun chicken pasta which was dynamite! For dessert we tried the sweet potato cheesecake and the bread pudding w/caramel drizzle both are a must! Before you order your meal put in that dessert order trust me it's worth it! The ambience was a 90s rnb which is always a vibe. This restaurant is a 10 out of 10. Thank you all for making our 1st visit an amazing experience ❤️!

   We made a reservation for 815 but did not arrive until 830. The hostess was gracious enough to sear us even though the kitchen was closing at 9. We were coming from my mom’s funeral. I was visiting from California and my cousin that lives in DC spoke highly of the place so I knew I wanted to sample before leaving the next day. Everything we had was absolutely delicious even the spinach which I’m not normally a fan of, but was scrumptious! The waitress was super friendly. Food came out hot. The deviled eggs with crab were “goated” according to my son of 26. It was the perfect way to end our Celebration of Life for my mom!

   Our server/bartender was very attentive and personable. She was the best part of the experience. The drinks were great. Some of the food was bland; the red snapper was fried too hard; the fried green tomatoes were too tart; the cornbread was good. Overall, it was cool. Definitely not worth the money I spent. Oh btw, there’s a 20% service charge added to every check.

   Arrive early and they were able to accommodate us. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. The food was very good and the portions were just right.

   The food is phenomenal, but what made the experience so amazing was the service! Our server erika was so attentive and every suggestion was a hit! This place can be a regular stop!

   This was my second visit to this location and I was not disappointed. The service, food and drinks were fantastic! From the minute you walked in you were greeted with a smile and the manager(s) took the time to see if we everything was good.
