   We enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner. My only complaint was that service was a little slow. The waiter and the meal were excellent

   We ordered the swordfish and stuffed salmon which were perfectly prepared. House salad and lobster bisque were yummy and creme brulee was a perfect choice for dessert. The service was on a bit of a delay, somewhat understandable on Mother's Day. Our waiter pleasant but seemed overwhelmed. We always enjoy the quality and preparation of the food at Mitchell's.

   I made this reservation for our book club. Mitchell’s provided a great table in an out of the way area of the restaurant. It was perfect part of the restaurant to be able to discuss our book for book club. It was the night after a horrific storm blew through Pittsburgh and did an incredible amount of damage and everyone was very happy to be out and to be able to get together. Some members of the group didn’t have power. We were very happy Mitchell’s was up and running. They provided excellent food and service as always!

   Wait staff was slow. Wine @ $15/glass and you don't see that I'm empty? And, you also know that I'm the one that's paying? When you have to ask for a refill. . . to me. . . that is subpar service. We had 9 people and it was a celebratory dinner - which the staff was aware. You should give "extra" attention. Meal was okay not at the price point it was but the portion was fair. White linens on the tables does not make up for service. We will not be back.

   The food was delicious. My husband ordered oysters on the half-shell, and they were very fresh. The bartender knew how to make a Brandy Alexander, and the overall experience was very pleasant.
