Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra.

We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef.

We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

    Food and service was excellent! We went with the Rib Eye, NY Strip and Fillet - all were cooked to perfection. Sides were delicious. A must for a special occasion.

    Great food and service as always. Chef prepared a appetizer for us that was no longer on menu which was appreciated as it was my wife's bday we were celebrating. Food is always spectacular at Modern Steak. One of our favorite places to dine
