   Ambience is very nice. Service is nice. Our group of 4 was seated on the beautiful 2nd floor balcony. I expected more from the food for the price. Appetizers: Mushroom + truffle pizza $22. 7/10 Just a good mushroom pizza. We couldn’t smell or taste the truffle oil. We have the same pizza in the Maui location and it was much better there. Lobster deviled eggs. 6/10. Four pieces for $22. Main: B Cheeseburger was good 9/10 Fish burger had no taste. 6/10 bulgogi tacos. 4 little tacos. 8/10 for flavor. My biggest problem was with the kale salad. It’s on the kale salad is $17. The server asked if I wanted to add protein. So I asked for shrimp. My salad came with four large shrimp. The additional cost for the four shrimp was $15! What a rip off. Not even in L.A. do you get price gouged like that. They should list the additional cost of each proteins on the menu like in other restaurants. If you want a nice ambience to have cocktails and pricey appetizers, this might be a good choice. There’s no parking validation. I would recommend the Maui Kaanapali location but this one has a ways to go to live up to the chain’s reputation.

   We have been going to Monkeypod whenever we are in HI, and have gone to all its locations. We enjoy their Mai Tais, which are topped with Lilikoi foam. The foam appears to have been changed to pineapple based. Not an improvement. Service is always pleasant and quick. Great outside dining.

   Great server! I'm a big fan of the fries and pies - yummy! My complaint - it was WAY too noisy. Even though I usually enjoy live music, it was so noisy, we weren't able to have a conversation, nor did we enjoy the music.

   We eat here every time we’re on Oahu. It has always been the culinary highlight of Oahu.

   Middling restaurant in a filthy strip mall with expensive parking. Wife’s cab sav was very good. My Negroni was so-so and a stingy pour for $18, not a good value. Mixed green salad was small and just okay, nothing special. Mushroom pizza was decent. In sum, located in a dirty strip mall with expensive parking. Nice folks on the staff. With the exception of a very good glass of wine the overall food and drink offerings were middling at best. We wouldnt go back with so many better places up and down the beach.
