Cool views if you get a table near the beach, which we did. So loud you can barely have a conversation. One our group had the fish tacos and gets them at many, many places and said these were the best she’s ever had! We also had a pizza, burger, and shrimp/mushroom potstickers none of which were very good. The cream pie was supposed to be a big draw, but was just okay. Wouldn’t come back.

Too noisy for out taste, party of 6 makes it difficult to converse over the club vib. Food is unremarkable but convenient.

We had the best time at MonkeyPod. Happy hour had great deals & delicious food & we requested an ocean seat and got one of the best seats in the house! Highly recommend

Very casual place. My fish was overcooked and dry, my husband's fish of the day was phenomenal.

I reserved a table 2 days ahead and had to wait anyway. We received a crappy table at the back of the restaurant rather than the ocean front and when I asked for a better table, I was told it was splashy upfront. Absolute nonsense. They didn’t seem to have trouble seating anyone else at the oceanfront. I had also indicated it was a birthday celebration, and there was no acknowledgement of such an occasion. Our server is not the one that brought us our dinner and they serve the wrong meal to the wrong person. That to me is inattentiveness and poor customer service. Food was only mediocre. I would not recommend this establishment. Overpriced and very poor service.

This place is pricey for what you get and on top of that they charge you $15 for parking with validation. valet only (at least that’s where we were told) so need to of course add tip. Biggest detractor was that the Hosts were not friendly or helpful. They gave us and other groups the impression that we were lucky to be seated even if 70% of the restaurant was empty. that was the side convo for the 3 groups (2, 3,2 people in each) while we were waiting. Our server at the table was great. Overall good restaurant but expensive for what you get and the tone set by the first person you see is not a positive one. Ambiance and music were excellent.

The new restaurant at Waikiki is amazing. My husband and I have been at both Maui locations before and this one has the same Pau Hana vibe. We ordered the cast iron shrimp which came completely burnt but when we asked them to remake, the second one came out absolutely delicious. Everything else that we ordered, including the Mai Tais was outstanding. It is a great place and it is must visit when at Waikiki. We will be back for sure.
