Out for an early Valentine’s date… Montero’s always offers a pleasant experience. Great food and friendly service, from entering to end of the evening, and usually a visit to your table by Andy or Karin. Thank you for our “special place.”

We always have an excellent experience at Montero's. The owner and his staff are very attentive and the food is consistently well prepared and richly flavored. We tried a couple of new dishes and were not disappointed. If you are in Elizabeth city , NC try this family owned gem!

Now Chris...you should know that the owner is a SHE (Karin). He (Andy) is just the pretty face of the operation....Karin is the real brains (and heart) of the restaurant! lol. And truthfully....none of it would be possible without the really pretty AND smart staff that supports them!

Some confusion and disorder at the reception desk, but corrected by one of the hostesses. The food was a 10!

Took my wife to Montaro’s for her birthday and had a wonderful time. I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection and my wife ordered the spinach, mushroom Wellington which she said was so good. Our server Danny made us feel right at home and was very attentive to our needs. Wonderful place to have dinner and we will be back.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Monteros. This makes the third year in a row and they knock it out of the park every time. They provide a card, a balloon, and will hold the cake until you are ready. The food is consistently delicious and the service is great!
