Good service overall and good food. However the ravioli I had left much to be desired. They were dry and they had lots of sauce that was unexpected. I expected fluffy fresh moist ravioli. Otherwise the artichoke salad was great.

We came as a group of 7 which is large for this small location but it was lovely. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend reservations as I said it is a very small spot but worth the wait. My mouth is watering just remembering all the amazing foods.

Literally the best Italian ever. Better than many one Michelin star Italian restaurants anywhere in the world. Wonderful and genuinely nice employees.

We had an excellent dinner at Monzu! Reservations were easy to book and our server, Daniel, was excellent from beginning to end. He was very attentive and even took the time to explain the history of the restaurant name. As for food, we started with the Summer Burrata Salad, which was very refreshing and on the saltier side of other burratas we have tried. Then, ordered the Carbonara and Amatriciana. You can tell from the first bite that they put a lot of care into the noodle quality as the texture was just right, perfectly al dente. Lastly, we finished our meal with the Chocolate Mousse, which was delectable and had an interesting mouthfeel as well. I’d highly recommend Monzu for those in San Diego!

We enjoyed our homemade pasta dishes and ariancini. The tiramisu misu was delicious. The service was excellent and we enjoyed dining outdoors.

Nice little place with pleasant outdoor dining space between front sidewalk and street. While some traffic, quieter than indoors. Food good, service attentive, small but very nice wine list across price points.
