   Morrissey's is an excellent restaurant inside the Adelphi Hotel. It was well-recommended, but one reason we chose it was that it accepts reservations on OpenTable. The noise level was high when we arrived, but a loud clutch of people departed, and things were much quieter after that. We had some small plates, and we were both very impressed with the warm lobster salad. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and plentiful on the plate, at a reasonable price. We liked the place so well, we returned for Sunday breakfast, which was on a par with our dinners.

   We had just drove in from Montreal and I was looking for a ‘nice’ restaurant. What a find!! Our server (who was fabulous!) greeted us with a glass of Prosecco (it was our anniversary!) and was super helpful and friendly. Our meals were delicious and will definitely come to this quaint restaurant again.

   The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and your needs. Above and beyond the normal call of duty, and their food is terrific.

   We came for brunch on 2/23 and had my 94 year old father. I had called ahead and they were amazing in their accommodation - ready for my Dad in a wheel chair at a table that was easy for him to access. We enjoyed a wonderful brunch. We will definitely be back!

   Found our server to be incredibly distracted and inattentive. I’m not sure what was going on but it took her forever to get us extra ketchup. She had maybe 1 or 2 other tables, it was slow. She said she was new and that was why she didn’t know the menu but that’s not really ever ok, you should know the menu like your own house before you even wait on a table. I get being new, I get there’s a sea of information. But it’s not fair to me as the customer. We ordered calamari which was not good at all, very rubbery, and specifically told our server NOT to replace the calamari. We asked for her for more ketchup for our fries as I got the steak frites, which was actually very good. Perfectly done steak. Seriously one of the best I’ve ever had, if not a little overpriced. She comes back after 15 minutes with the unwanted remade calamari and no ketchup. We send it back and ask for a dessert menu. She comes back with the WRONG dessert menu. This is not her fault and I understand that most of this was not her fault. However, her lack of attention to us was abhorrent and she was incredibly nice but seemed like she didn’t know what was going on. She also asked us how our entrees were within 30 seconds of them being dropped, which was just awkward. The sushi we ordered, specifically the Love Tuna Roll and Shrimp Tempura Rolls, were perfect. The Hipster Fries were fine, we ate them all but we were starving. We specifically asked about a lingonberry catsup before ordering, and when the fries came out, she only told us then that they were out of this item, which was supposed to come with the fries, which were mediocre. I understand she probably would have had to no reason to ask. Overall, I found the meal disappointing and I think our server was just distracted by something tonight. I assume something was going on in her life because I find it hard to believe you can be so absent on such a slow night. I love the sushi here and will be back for the sushi.

   we splurged for a nice dinner out up in Saratoga at Morrissys on Broadway. Slightly upscale atmosphere , nice sushi bar, with quieter dining area past the bar. We had some craft cocktails and split a lobster salad to start. Susan had seafood risotto while I had seared scollops. Nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Attentive and adequate wait staff, our server Emily was personable and knowledgeable. A place we plan to visit again.

   We were seated In a room under a HVAC vent that blew cold air on us despite there being several tables not under vents. Our waitress moved us at our request. The drinks were not very generous, despite the cost. Food was fine and the salad shared was split in th kitchen before serving, which was nice. Over all, not the best dining experience, but adequate. Value was questionable.

   Very good sushi prepped at a sushi bar by a sushi chef Really enjoyed the signature Adelphi roll. Fair amount of noise so people with hearing impaired might want to choose a quieter spot or avoid the busiest hours.
