Mortimer House does not recognise bookings taken via OpenTable, so there was no booking when we arrived. They found us a table, but no thanks to OpenTable

For a meal to impress friends you want: 1) Location; 2) Great food; 3) Great service; 4) Great ambience. This fulfills all of the above, but the abience and decor is top notch, just the right balance between style, cosiness and relaxed, tasteful decor. The service is with a smile and quick, efficient and responsive. The food is really really good and offers options. Would definitely come again, as would my friends.

Had a great experience at Mortimer House Kitchen. The food was exquisite - made with high quality ingredients and care. The menu ihad a great mix of traditional and quirky, which is exactly what I was after. Service was very polite and attentive. The noise level was low which is what we were looking for. Lunch with a nice bottle of wine came to around £100 including service. Will come again.

Our first visit to try Lello's acclaimed food at Mortimer House Kitchen and we were not disappointed. The room itself is centred on the open plan kitchen where you can see the impeccably clean and tidy chefs cooking. Food was adventurous and flavoursome with loads of dishes we wanted to try. If you are a vegetarian I am sure you would be in heaven. All dishes were well cooked and delicious. Service was friendly and appropriate. Team are obviously picked on attitude and a love of providing service. We shall return. PS We also felt for London it was great value too.

Fantastic dinner with my husband to celebrate his birthday - the service and food were impeccable, and the team made the night really special. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
