   We we in town to visit family. I hadn’t visited this resturant in some years, but remembered it was good the last time we visited. It has changed and not for the better. I asked for the aged ribeye, the waitress said they were out but the wagu was the same or better. It cost double, but I thought it’s a holiday, so fine. The presentation wasn’t great, just a flat bit of meat on a plate, not terribly appealing. Worse, it tasted “off”, like it had been sitting too long and was near going bad. Lastly, the cut had a lot of gristle in it and was very fatty. It wasn’t the tender and flavorful steak I had hoped and paid for. The sides were fine, nothing special, but fine. The chocolate lava cake and ice cream desert was quite good. All in all, I would not repeat. There are many very good steak houses in the area. While this used to be one of them, it seems it’s best days are behind it.

   I expect a lot more from Morton’s especially one located near The Warner Brothers Studios where high profile celebrities come to eat, the service and food were subpar. The Food… Out of three steaks that we ordered, non of the three were cooked to the correct ordered temperature, either overcooked or undercooked. None of the food looked like the picture posted on Yelp from the business owner especially the Dry-Aged Porterhouse Steak, false advertisement!!! Or maybe that’s how it looks only for the high profile celebrities that eat there! The Miso Marinated Sea Bass was probably the one dish that did not disappoint. As for the sides, they weren’t anything to die for, we ordered Lobster Macaroni Shells & Cheese, Matchstick Parmesan & Truffle Fries, Jumbo Grilled Asparagus, and Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes. The Dessert… The Candied Walnut Cheesecake was average, tastes like they purchased it at CostCo and added the candied walnuts on top (can’t beat Ruth Chris Cheesecake). The Crème Brûlée was average, nothing out of the ordinary. As for the Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, yeah, that was good. The Service… As I stated before, I expect a lot more considering the restaurant and location. The waitress brought us our side dishes but no plates, we had to wait and ask for plates. The desserts were all brought out at different times, some of us were done with our dessert before others started on theirs and no utensils, we had to ask for again. I’m not even sure why I left her a tip which by the way, they ask for 17% to 22% (RIDICULOUS). No Vegetarian options… My wife had to eat a Caesar Salad for dinner since they offered no other options. Overall, not a great family dinner for $643!!!

   For some reason we didn’t know this was in our neighborhood, even though I’ve lived here for 20+ years. It’s nice to have another special occasion option that’s local! The drinks were good and we really enjoyed the truffle fries and filet mignon. Would recommend the bar area but we loved our big booth.

   We had a wonderful time having our Christmas dinner here. The staff was amazing. The food and drinks were incredible. Tens across the board.

   So very good. Waitresses Jennifer was excellent and attentive. The rack of lamb son in law was huge. He really enjoyed them. My filet Oscar was fabulous. So tender. We’ll be back

   Christmas Eve, as expected, is very busy. The service was slow and two of the filets had to be returned to cook more. The screamimg child didn't help the evening.

    We went to Morton's for a company X-mas dinner. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. When I sat down, my fork was not washed properly and there were huge cracks in my wine glass nobody could miss...but they did. I pointed it out to our server and she just said "oh" and walked away with the glass...that's it...and disappeared for about 10 minutes. We had been seated for 20 minutes by this point and we were just getting to waters. We ordered and the salads were perfect! The main courses came and the steaks were very good, but thin and overly fatty for $65 rib-eyes, but cooked correctly. I ordered Sea Bass. The broth was wonderful and the greens under the fish were great. I took 2 bites out of the fish and it was barely warm, VERY fishy and tough. I put it aside and would have let our server know about it, but she was gone for at least another 15-20 min after the mains were served. I explained what I experienced and she seemed slightly offended. She again said "oh, no", but apologized this time taking the fish away...nothing else said that I recall. I ate the asparagus that I ordered and bread. The manager (very nice female) did come over to the table some time later and apologized asking if I would like anything else. Everyone was just about done and eating my meal alone would be uncomfortable, so I thanked her, but declined. A time later, the server asked if we wanted to see desert menus instead of just bringing them over. We ordered Creme brulee and a mixed berries and cream desert with a coffee. The coffee came quickly and the deserts were 19 minutes later. The Creme brulee was Yummy. The berries and cream were about 6 raspberries, 6 blue berries, and 2 sectioned strawberries in some very bland cream. It was hardly what I would have expected for the cost. Overall, I felt like it was not money well spent and not the experience we had hoped for.
