   It was a bit noisy for me but the food and service were fantastic. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience at a Landry’s restaurant.

   We totally get it’s New Year’s Eve and there’s a fireworks show right outside. That’s why we come year after year. But this year service and food was more lacking than usual. Took about 20 min for drinks. We were sat at a booth on side not super roomy, when I ordered my sparkling water she put it on edge of table and didn’t pour it. Neither of us could reach the water so I had to ask her to pour ot about 5-7 min after it sat. We ordered apps sides and 1 guest had a steak. The bacon app is very different than it used to be so not what we were expecting. One guest didn’t have silverware when their salad came out and she did bring fork over but not complete setup so guest still had no napkin. We had to take from another table. We all got up to watch fireworks. There were several groups still eating and it did take a while for staff to come back in. I do understand they closed at 12 but with guests still in establishment the staff should not have been drinking in bar area and talking about each others body parts loud enough where anyone could here. It wasn’t the experience we are used to and will make us think twice before having another new years there. Such a shame.

   We visited Morton's New Year's Eve with 2 other couples. The restaurant was extremely busy not only because it was New Year's eve but also it was in a hotel that was hosting numerous guests for a Bowl-Game. We arrived about 15 min early but were seated within minutes. Our waitress, Shanese, turned out to be a very bright, attentive young lady who happened to previously be our favorite server from another local upscale restaurant who was so impressive that we used to have her listed on our info card as our requested 1st choice for server at that facility. Shanese recognized us immediately and gave us a terrific greeting, like old friends. Throughout the evening she did not disappoint. Despite handling numerous tables and being extremely busy (literally running between tables) she did not disappoint and did an awesome job. Although my wife and I + one of other couples were familiar with her, the 3rd couple was not, but everyone expressed their delight with her service, knowledge of food and drink menu options,, recommendations, etc. The venue, decorations, and food were all wonderful. Turned out to be a fantastic evening in every respect but especially due to Shanese. Will definitely return and request this wonderful server.

   Service was superior. Food was amazing. Cocktails were not stellar , and they lacked some options. That was the only disappointment.

   Parking can be tricky. Valet is for overnight hotel guests only. The garage clearance is only 6’6”.

   The service was awful. The server did not greet our table for at least 5 minutes if not longer. When she did show up she was not very attentive or knowledgeable. We waited way too long for everything including ordering drinks- which she messed up and then talked bad about the new bartender for several minutes to us. We tried to order food several times but she kept going to another able to chit chat. Probably my last visit to Morton’s- I can list at least 5 steakhouses locally I’d rather go to.

   Bacon steak not worth the money. Portion was small for cost. Steaks under cooked. Potatoes in au gratin were severely undercooked. Service was poor. We were only able to break a bar table which I would not do again. .
