   We were seated right around our reservation time, which was great! The restaurant is beautiful. Each table was decorated for New Year’s. We all ordered steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. The sides, however, left a lot to be desired. The sour cream mashed potatoes were room temperature and crumbly. The cream spinach was just OK. Our server asked us three times during dinner what we wanted for dessert. Towards the end of our meal, we felt rushed. Dessert was brought out before I could swallow my last bite of my main course. I did not like that! One should never feel rushed at a restaurant like Morton’s.  overall, I loved the ambience and as previously stated, the steaks were delicious.

   The French Onion soup was watery instead of rich in beef broth. My stuffed chicken breast was overcooked and there was no stuffing. The mashed potatoes (enhanced with bacon and cheese were undercooked. Such a terrible experience.

   The bread at, was exceptional—warm, crusty, and perfectly soft inside. Each bite revealed a nutty, subtly sweet flavor, complemented by whipped butter, herb-infused oil, and tangy balsamic reduction. More than a starter, it showcased craftsmanship and care, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Truly remarkable.

   Compared to its contemporaries, Morton’s falls short. Salad was over dressed and sour and the croutons were soft. French onion soup was warm, not hot and under seasoned. Steak was cooked incorrectly. Overall, overpriced and average. Not exceptional which was the expectation.
