   Ahhh things have been disappointing lately. Food is severely overcooked. Service is great, as always but something bad is going on in the kitchen. 3 times in a row. Changes need to be made. Burnt offerings and fine dining do not go well together Time to take a break

   Our server, Ryan, was amazing. He was very attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, for the first time ever at Morton's, the food was subpar. The Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops were not only not jumbo, they were small. The chef also seemed to not understand that since the scallops were smaller than they used to be, they also needed to be cooked for less time. They were very over done. The French Onion Soup was flavorless. The quality of the Ribeye and the Filet have gone downhill. The Ribeye was cooked well. The Filet was supposed to be medium, the center was cold and the outside was like charcoal. The kitchen forgot to put the requested blue cheese butter on the filet. The baked potato was underdone. The brussels sprouts were fantastic, as was the chocolate cake. Overall, we were disappointed by the experience what was supposed to be a celebration for our wedding anniversary.

   Problem with the internet held us up over 30 minutes while trying to pay the bill. We were gracious and patient but for good measure they could’ve offered a desert or something while we waited.

   The steaks and seafood appetizers never disappoints. Their State Street Manhattan is the best manhattan by far. Their portion sizes are perfect. Our servers are always attentive but not annoying or interrupting. This is our go to restaurant when we want a nice meal. If you’re a member of Costco be sure to pay using repurchased gift cards.

   The waiter started off congratulating on an engagement when I had not even asked my fiance the question yet... steak was good but the sides were dry on top like they had been left under a heat lamp, the cream spinach tasted like it was full of water and no cream, one of the sides was forgotten about until the meal was halfway done then brought out and only warm in temperature.. and drink refills had to be requested and were not prompt at all. I have been to Mastro's and thought to try Mortons... I wish that I hadn't, engagement surprise was ruined and truly a waste of money on this experience.

    It was our wedding anniversary and they made it feel special with rose petals and note on the table, and taking our photo and giving us copy. Service was amazing.
