Wonderful dining experience on NYE. The food was delicious and dessert was divine! The only issue was our server calling me “honey” but she was sweet.

We went to Morton's in Woodland Hills, our first time. NYE, wanted something special. The hostess had a hard time finding our reservation. Finally did. I even showed her the confirmation email. Then she told us to go by the bar. I asked to wait for a table? No just pick one or you can go outside. It was odd that she didn't even take the time to seat us or show us around. Once we found a table we waited at least 12 minutes for a menu. Finally my daughter went inside and asked. She was only given two, for the four of us. It was cold outside, we asked to have our heater turned up. No one knew how to do it. It took 45 minutes to figure it out. We ordered a Tomahawk Steak (medium rare), Lobster, soup and sides. The steak was pulsing, very rare, fatty and not cut neatly. Just hacked up. We had to send it back. The lobster never came. The waiter apologized and gave us a complimentary dessert to make up for forgetting the lobster. The taste of the food was very good after the steak was cooked a little more. Soup, salads, potatoe was delicious. The lobster ravioli was so so, needed more sauce. Way OVER PRICED! When we got the bill my eyes popped out! They double charged us for the steak by accident. So that had to be adjusted. I expected more from a high end expensive restaurant.

Excellent service by Derrick. He makes our dinners perfect. Also Danny at the bar for after diner drinks is an attentive, great conversationalist, and the best bartender in making our drinks. Other top servers are Jeffrey, and Danny when he isn’t managing the bar.

We went on Christmas, needless to say they were very busy. Even with that said, the service was great and so was the food. The price point was within reason considering the local competition. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side. The Bar menu was large and the drinks were good. Will definitely visit again. I like that it is smaller and more intimate than the neighboring Ruth Chris - it was also cleaner.

Morton's is one of the finest steak restaurants in Los Angeles, in a class with only three or four others. The food is fabulous, the service is first rate. We went to the Woodland Hills branch, and we loved it.

The music was a little loud. If you have a quiet talker at your table you won't de able to hear them. Otherwise, the service was excellent, and the food was very good

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this restaurant was a complete letdown. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The hostess greeted us without any respect and seemed completely exhausted. After being seated, it took 20 minutes for anyone to attend to us, even though we repeatedly asked for service. The food was mediocre at best, and to make matters worse, the table next to us found a piece of plastic in their dish. Truly disappointing!
