   Always a wonderful experience at Mr Benny’s. The filet is outstanding and cooked to order. Service was excellent as well.

   Had a reservation for my mom's 88th birthday here. Also attending, my wife and 13 yr old son. Every year we take my mom for Lobster/Filet Mignon (My son and I had Filet, wife had a Lemon Shrimp meal). Have been to many other locations for her birthday (Catch 35 Nap, Sullivans, Mortons etc). Service was poor here. Waited an extremely long time to receive our meal (which may explain the temp of our food) but also waited so long for a Dt Coke that I had to go to the bar and get it myself. My mom's lobster arrived cold, as did the veg on everyone's plate and both the lobster as well as all of our steaks lacked flavor. They apologized greatly saying they were known for their Lobsters and asked if she wanted something different as they were afraid another would arrive in the same condition. My mom said she would just take the steak; however, they brought out another surf and turf. This one was hot, but was still poor from a flavor / texture. They offered us free desert. However, when the brought the bill it was $360 and they charged $150 for the surf and turf!!! That is nearly double what other locations charge. On top of that, the steak was reasonable at $48; so essentially they charged us over $100 for a lobster tail which lacked flavor and execution had 2 bites taken out of (was essentially thrown out). I wanted to address this further when we were there, however, my mom was completely embarrassed about the amount of attention they drew to the issue and simply wanted to leave. I would highly recommend any of the other restaurants as options. Was extremely disappointed in Mr. Benny's - especially given the other reviews.

   Our dinner order was lost by the waiter or the kitchen. The waiter actually brought out another's meal to our table. Then we had to wait another 15 minutes for our dinner. After waiting for 30 minutes from getting our salads our meal arrived. My New York strip steak was so charred that I had to cut the top layer and bottom off to reach edible meat. What a waste of a good steak. My wife's rack of lamb was charred the same way more looking like a burnt log instead of a nice piece of lamb. I mentioned to our waiter that the food looked burnt and he didn't offer to have the entrees redone. Our eating experience was as bad as it can get.

   Good food. I was not blown away, but not disappointed either. At $100+ for each of our plates however I felt the value was not there compared to other restaurants where I have spent the same amount. While I know they are more wine focused, the 2 cocktails were not great (tried ordering a Paloma and Tom Collins). Wish they had a small cocktail menu of drinks they are confident and stocked to serve instead of just saying they can make whatever and serving poor drinks. Would definitely recommend you stick to the wine menu. Loved the ambience as I’m a fan of supper clubs. Staff were all friendly and the place was clean.
