A Family Tradition For Over 90 Years

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes.

Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.

Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only. Thank you in advance for understanding and we are in this together.

    It was fair/average … I think we’d of enjoyed having a meal in the restaurant instead of the buffet. my husband enjoys boysenberry and that’s what Knotts is known for. This was our first Knotts brunch.

    The boysenberry drinks were excellent. Some of the food in buffet was cold, and bland. When I asked for biscuits which are my favorite they were cold. Not worth the price. I would have preferred the actually restaurant maybe the food would be warmer.

    My only complaint is the parking situation for those Disabled and having issues walking so far to get to the restaurant or to any of the outside shopping. There should at least be a drop off or a shuttle to catch to and from the restaurant or the shopping area ; Snoopy store or the General Stores for jam, etc. Thank you for otherwise a great Brunch!

    This was absolutely the worst brunch I’ve ever attended. The prime rib was overdone. The potatoes were cold as was the gravy. The chicken was overcooked, extremely dry. The boysenberry cheesecake was good as was the chocolate cake. We were not able to just have champagne. The mimosa maybe had a tablespoon of champagne. 95% juice. We went at 10:15. Not many people there, so the noise level was as acceptable. Our waitress was very nice & friendly. There are MUCH better brunches out there for a more affordable price. Don’t waste your money

    We’ve been coming here for brunch for over 20 years and it’s still amazing! Sal was our waiter and he was spectacular. His service was spot on. He kept our mimosas topped off and was extremely nice. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were spot on. The biscuits fresh the desserts are wonderful.

    Our server Rachel was awesome, very friendly and attentive. Service like it use to be is what we got with Rachel and nowadays that’s hard to find. She made it a for a very nice dinning experience…We love dinning at Knott’s kitchen. The Knotts Famous Chicken Dinner is the best. Great portions and the price is on point. Thank you for being consistent with your food and great service.

    We love Mrs Knott's chicken! It's definitely too much food, though! We always bring home leftovers. We tried the spinach salad from the Boysenberry Festival menu & it was delicious!
