   Best sashimi and uni I’ve had in this area. Never liked uni, but was encouraged to taste it by others I was with. It was definitely better than before and even my son said better than he had in Japan. Rolls were also delicious. A bit on the pricey side but was worth it. Also very loud. Was disappointed that I made a reservation a few weeks in advance for 5 people and was squeezed into a small booth. Had to put a chair at the end of the table and deal with people going back and forth the entire time. Told us they were very busy because of Valentine’s, but a party of 4 came on after us and got a table for 6. Waitress offered to move us but we were already settled and had drinks as well as one in my party was handicapped and more difficult to move. In the end, we totally enjoyed our dinner and will definitely go back.

   All good things. Been wanting to try this restaurant and so glad last night we did. My husband and I got lots of food and it was so good! He got a whiskey flight and I tried the togi lychee martini which was delicious. We started with edamame, calamari and the fries (the seasoning dipping was delicious) For our main meal, my husband got ramen and the Naruto roll. I got shrimp fried rice and wagyu bao bun because I had to try. The fried rice was so good I thought I was going to take some home but ended up finishing it. And lastly we finished off our meal with cheesecake which was delicious as well. Everything we had was very good and would recommend to anyone. Definitely will be coming back.

   the female server with the glasses (not the kind / sweet looking one) decided it would be a good idea to insult me while i was on a date by praising my date and subsequently saying “oh you’re on a date with someone who looks like him?” it wasn’t said in a particularly funny or playful way either, and she doubled down to then say to my date “let me know if you need someone else to pay for this meal.” really weird to insult me just as we sat down when you have no familiarity with me. i’ve got thick skin, but this put a bad taste in my mouth from minute 1 of being here. the only reason i still tipped 20% is because the other server was lovely and was the main one taking care of us.

   Food and service were very good as usual, but for the first time (and I’ve been there many times since they’ve opened it in Frisco), there were running out of some fish and utensils. Hopefully it was just that day.
