   The food and service were impeccable! We had the sampler appetizer for two and both specials with lobster. Our server Anamika was extremely attentive and gracious. It was such an outstanding experience that we are going to bring our parents next time!

   Parking was easy. There's a choice of valet or self park for $7. I had reservations at the bar for 530 but ATL was awful. I was able to move it to 6pm with the app. The hostess was warm and inviting, checked on me twice during my meal. Alex the bartender was amazing. Great conversation and always had a smile. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Kai Saim chicken. The presentation was impeccable and was delicious.

   As always, the service at Nan Thai was amazing, as well as the quality of the food. However I will not be returning to this restaurant due to the menu pricing. The original menu obviously had been printed with the price of each item clearly marked against each item. However, during our visit, half of the prices had been obliterated, replaced with crude stickers reading "MP". This, we were informed, stood for "market price". In other words, the price of any menu item could be changed at the management's discretion and in this way they wouldn't have to reprint the menus, nor inform the customers how much any particular item cost. We were a party of four, with the tab being picked up by our host. During the ordering process, each person in our party had to inquire the price of every dish they might consider ordering before contemplating whether the price was unreasonable and choosing a lower priced item, with consideration for the host. Not only was this process tedious, but also embarrassing as we were forced to publicly make alternative choices, given the much higher prices of the "MP" options. Had all the prices been shown, choices could have been made from self contemplation, rather than in an auction-style atmosphere. This restaurant will lose many customer due to this practice, which is a shame because all other aspects of our dining experience were wonderful.

   Food was excellent, some of the dishes rather expensive but reasonably priced options available as well. Definitely recommend.

   The server provided excellent customer service. Raspberry lemon drop was the best I’ve had. Lamb chops were not cooked medium as requested (they were rare) so I sent them back and they returned two prepared correctly and one well done. A “fine dining” restaurant should have experienced chefs that can prepare meats at the correct temperature. The accompanying sticky coconut rice was decent and the cucumber salad had zero flavor. Needless to say, I was disappointed in this dining experience that I’ve had on my list for a while.

    We have been dining at Nan’s group since the early days, and have always enjoyed our experience. In Jan we visited Nan Buckhead and found the menu to be quite lovely but our server was clearly not able to handle the number of tables they were assigned. Sat Mar 1st we dined at Nan Midtown, again we found our delightful server Anamika overwhelmed with her area of responsibility. Sadly the bar was also culpable and not to mention our entrees were lukewarm one cold which was replaced by Anamika. very interesting was the continuous upselling that the servers are engaged in starting with the water continuing to appetizers and wine. I didn’t see the mandatory 20% gratuity mentioned which I find as an insult since I base my TIP To Insure Promptness in an amount inclusive of kitchen staff. We’ll select a different Thai restaurant next time. Seasoned diner. Michael
